Tools to write & begin birthing

I am super excited about Scrivener. I think this is going to be the writing tool for me!  It is #1 super organized, #2 allows you to think about many things at once, #3 is visual, and #4 is more like sculpting.  This may be perfect for now!

How do I know it may be right for me?  Well, I am excited just thinking about it.  Its popped up in my life.  And writing is a key next step.  I notice I have taken on many tools to assist me in going in, rolling around in it, and letting myself out (Evernote, Devonthink, MacJournal, Wunderlist).  I need this.  Esp. because I can get lost, thinking spherically.  Each helps in a certain way.  A compartment for my workflow.  It helps me figure out how I work.  I need places for different things to go.  Esp. when I create.  Otherwise too much is lost.  I over-engineer before I begin.

(and Linear Microsoft Word-based writing has sucked.)

How I feel my flow?

If I I can see it, I can allow it, and strengthen it.   Its how I manifest.  Its how I get clear, from the many streams that are moving within me.  When its like sculpture, I can thrive; working on the whole and the parts at the same time.

A tool that meets me in the moment – awesome.  Authentic.  I don’t try to taint, change it.  It meets me before my brain (my executive) kicks in. The messiness of being immediate helps me not to change for others.   It surprises me, as I get to feel myself, and feel stronger and stronger.  It makes it not like writing. So Scrivener it will be.  I have a place for thoughts, past writing, current musings and tangents in the moment  to go.

This tool catalyzes permission, process, and beauty/seeing 🙂
