Designer teaches me coaching

I am working with a designer.  Its great!  It is amazing how much manifesting something is about developing a structure around what you are up to.  And I can’t do it alone!  It is liberating to have upteen small questions answered patiently, have some tutorial basics taught to me about design software where I otherwise limp around, and having someone show up and be there in my work flow, helpful and kind.

Hey, doesn’t that sound like coaching?

– Patience, kindness
– Meeting someone where they are
– Being deeply interested and helpful while they unpack it in front of you; waiting for them to ask
– Offering 1-2 small things, letting that open & shift
– Patience, love again

So now you know, that’s the secret to coaching!  Its a real gift when someone gives you their presence for your work.

So today, I got: i) a innovative set of ideas for organizing my graphics folders and all the little materials I am working on, ii) a good discussion for the evolution of my logo and why its linked to how I present my three areas of work, and iii) a whole bunch of great ideas for how to use Adobe Illustrator better.

Its awesome to have someone really take he time to meet you where you are.  Validation of my work path on all levels
